Tea Ceremony  


Experience a traditional tea ceremony in the "Okatei″-- complete with a serving of matcha and a Japanese sweet.

The Japanese tea ceremony, known as the Way of Tea, is a Japanese cultural activity involving the ceremonial preparation and presentation of matcha, powdered green tea. In Japanese, it is called sadō, chadō (茶道) or chanoyu (茶の湯), while the manner in which it is performed, or the art of its performance, is called otemae (お点前).

Experience this special art form at 24th FAWA Convention in Tokyo.

Each tea ceremony demonstration is 30 minutes long. Please arrive 5 minutes before the demonstration time and please note that seating is limited.

Dressing Summer Kimono (Yukata) for women


There is a culture of wearing kimono as a traditional Japanese culture.

Even today, kimonos are worn for formal occasions such as tea parties, weddings, and award ceremonies.

Yukata is popular among young people in the summer.

Yukata has the advantage of being easy to wear and easy to wash.

Please experience one of Japan's traditions.
